Our Music Industry Knowledge
David has over 25 years’ knowledge and experience of the music industry, as a performer, session singer, composer, publisher and manager.
Since coming to the firm, David has worked with a diverse range of clients, ranging from film executives, commercial composers, media conglomerates, solo songwriter's, upcoming artists, managers and record executives.
He is highly versatile in musical genres, including: Jazz, Urban, R&B, Commercial, Dance/Club anthems, Industrial, ‘Soca’ and ‘pop’ - 'Pop' and 'Dance' being David’s genres of success as an artist, manager and music publisher.
Recognition
As a composer, he has published works with Sony Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group UK, EMI Music Publishing and Warner Chappell Music Publishing in the United States of America.
His work has received international recognition, proudly having three individual entries within The Guinness Book of ‘Hit’ Singles representing artists as manager and/or publisher. In addition, he’s worked in A+R (Artist and Repertoire) as a Director for one of the UK’s most successful, independent music publishers, achieving multiple successes in synchronising music for film and television both here in the United Kingdom as well as territories all around the world, including North America.
He has also achieved gold and platinum certifications for international artists such as Des’ree, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Simply Red, Robert L. Johnson, The Who, The Rolling Stones as well as Publisher for 'BRIT' Nominee 'Jon Doe' to name just a few. David is also the co-author and producer of ‘The International Song for Peace’ voted by industry legends.
